Bright Sparks and Scarfs

Last weeks Bright Sparks group was lead by Mauteen Hunter and was titled '40 ways to tie your scarf' just in time for the cooler days When we will be getting our scarfs on. The afternoon was great fun and everyone enjoyed it. Here are a few picture from the day, with thanks to Yvonne Lamond

Muffin The Mule

At our September meeting our members were entertained by the famous puppet, Muffin the mule, and his puppet friends. Will McNally gave the talk and introduced us to Muffin, the original puppet and told us all about Muffins history, as well as Muffins many animal friends. The members were shown footage of an original tv show, and encouraged to sing along with the well know song. It brought back happy memories of times gone by for a lot of our ladies and everybody throughly enjoyed it.

First Aid Awareness

Six of our members took part in a first aid awareness course this week, they found it hugely informative and great fun!
