In spite of the drizzle and the gloomy start to the day, spirits were high and so were the donations of cakes, biscuits, cupcakes and all sorts of goodies. A big thank you to everyone who donated and who helped to man the stall, especially to Angela who lent her gazebo which was much appreciated in the rainy conditions.
Once the sun came out so did the customers and sales were brisk with a £100 raised for HTWI funds.
Well done Angela and her Grand-daughters; plus all the other helpers and contributors.
ReplyDeleteThe gazebo was much appreciated, we have stood in the rain so often like drown rat's trying to protect the cakes from marauding seagulls.Now we are dry and attack free!!
