Driftin' Away

At the Craft/Social Club this afternoon, Angela Purnell gave a demonstration of the Driftwood Art she has created.  Angela showed us how she makes art from driftwood found on our beaches and impressed us all with how she creates such things of beauty from such simple and natural materials.

About 20 members enjoyed the stimulating and creative demonstration and the opportunity to have a good chat with friends.

    I know I am always twittering on about the things we do and attend but Angela's demo yesterday was really good.I am inspired to make a Christmas tree out of Driftwood. Just make sure you don't get to the beach before me!
