Teignside Group Meeting

It was Teignmouth WIs turn to host the group this year. The Teignside group consists of Shaldon and Ringmore, Stokeinteignhead, Bishopsteignton as well as the hosts Teignmouth. The theme was Golden as its Teignmouths 50 birthday. Shaldon and Ringmore won the group competition. The speaker was Simon Hall who was amusing and interesting, he spoke about his work as a TV journalist and about the detective novels that he writes, several members purchased books from him on the night. The catering team worked very hard to produce a wonderful buffet for everyone to enjoy and the compliments were flying around.
